Astronomy on Tap Lyon #18

Astronomy on Tap Lyon is back with a eighteenth event! Join us next wednesday, December 17 starting at 20:00 (8 PM). The event is free and everyone is welcome! (We speak both French and English.)

The event will take place at the Elephant and Castle bar in the Old Town of Lyon. This time, we'll have two presentations followed by a quiz:
(1) Léo Zimmermann and Inès Bentara will present "Gravitational waves: why the cosmos rocks"
(2) David Whitworth will present "How magnets affect our universe: from frogs to galaxies"
(3) The Astro Quiz !

Astronomy on Tap Lyon, dix-huitième ! Astronomy on Tap Lyon, c'est l'événement qui vous présente les recherches menées par les astrophysicien(ne)s lyonnais(e)s. Les présentations sont en anglais mais les jeux sont en français et en anglais. Toutes les langues sont les bienvenues, l'équipe fera de son mieux pour traduire et inclure tout le monde. Rendez-vous à l'Elephant and Castle le mercredi 17/12 à 20 h. L'événement est gratuit et ouvert à toutes et tous !

Pour cette 18ème édition, Léo Zimmermann, Inès Bentara et David Whitworth vous parleront des ondes gravitationnelles et des champs magnétiques.
